“C’est cool, mon chum” –

Eagle-eyed Ali spotted a tiny little dot on the map marked ‘Grafitti Alley’, so we hopped onto a streetcar – super exciting in itself for newbie riders – from the quayside to explore. Given its name, we were expecting something a little edgy and un-sanitised. Instead we found some very tame pieces of art. Most make use of colour beautifully and light up what would otherwise be an unremarkable side street. Others are tags or purely practice tags. Very few are political.

As many of the pieces are dated 2016/17, the street’s facade changes often. It’s therefore definitely worth a visit. However, don’t expect anything as provocative as London or Berlin! At least not yet…
